TheVolleyball Champions Leagueis the top volleyball club competition in Europe, with 20 teams from across the continent taking each other on in a bid to be the champion of Europe. Founded in 1959, the men's Champions League has been dominated by Russian and Polish sides in the last decade, with Poland's ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle winning the last three in a row.
Turkish club Vakifbank Istanbul are the top side in the women's Champions League, winning four out of the last six including the most-recent final in 2023.

Japan are the host nation, with the women's competition running from 16th-24th September 2023, immediately followed by the men's event from 30th September to 8th October 2023.
Brazil are the defending champions from 2019 in the men's Volleyball World Cup, while the 2019 women's World Cup was won by China – their second title in a row.
Betting on Volleyball at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
The 2024 Olympic Games marks the 60th anniversary of volleyball's first appearance at the Olympics, and a gold medal remains one of the most coveted and hotly-contested prizes in the sport.

It all gets underway in Paris on July 27th 2024, coming to its epic conclusion on August 11th. All matches will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

In the most recent edition in July 2023, Poland claimed top spot by beating USA in the men's competition with Turkey beating China in the women's final.
In 2024 the men's Volleyball Nations League will be played between May 21st 2024 and June 30th, with the women's tournament held from May 14th to June 23rd 2024.

Betting on the FIVB Volleyball World Championship
Bet on all the action from one of the biggest international tournaments in volleyball: the FIVB Volleyball World Championship. Held every four years, the World Championship features 24 teams from around the world in a series of high-quality matches to determine the ultimate world champion.
The first men's Volleyball World Championship was held in 1949, with Russia winning four of the first five over the next couple of decades. Since then, though, there has been a greater variety of winners from around the world included USA, Brazil, Italy and Poland. Those last two nations contested the most recent Volleyball World Championship final, in 2022, with Italy defeating host nation Poland 3-1.
The next Volleyball World Championship will be held in 2025, with the tournament expanding to 32 teams and changing to be held every two years instead of quadrennially.
